That gecko beats any morph today. Gotta love all the spots and faint purple bands. Better then the half human designed animal inbred leopard gecko.

Nice one! I started with leos and I still have them. They look like yours and are really fun.
I´m not a friend of those hyper-super-woopi-carrot- leopard geckos ;)

Unfortunately nobody buys "normal" leos.

Thanks everyone. I might try and breed her. My cousain has a WC male thats about 15 years old. Beautiful gecko. So maybe I will try and get a few babies from them and get some Normals going again!
Thanks again

very nice leos.
we have 7.20 wildcaught leopards and about 40 pure F1 leopards
we also keep them pure, to always have strong bloodlines:)

Hi Sebastian,

That's not entirely true; most off my leo's are normals, and my most beloved male looks exactly like this 13 year old leo in the pics!!
Most people who are just starting in the leo hobby, begin with a normal (off course, there are always exeptions). When the hobby grows, they eventually get themselves some morphs. And then, the "normals" are no longer attractive to them anymore....:cry:
I've stumbled across breeders who even advised me not to breed my normal male to any off my morph females. Now, that pisses me off!!:-x
It's because off those types off people, that Normals are becoming rare, don't you think?
Greetings,
Cindy

:fight: You get em girl!!!!

I agree... I want to KNOW all the genetics/morphs, and know how to make them.. but I am perfectly fine just breeding healthy pretty lil geckos that love to be held! There is a market for that.. sure... I'll supply all the newbies with regular pretty geckos and they can go from there! *LOL* and be happy to do so!

Nice leos!

I started off like everyone here, except I started with high yellows.
But if you breed high yellow to high yellow you know what you get? More high yellows.
Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but I needed some excitement. I love learning, and I desperately wanted to be confused with the outcome of my babies.

And not to mention all the colors and patterns and lastly, the 'profit'.
Normals are great, but I am like a jack russell with a.d.d, I get bored soooo easily...

Without people who still like the wild types, there wouldnt be any wily types left in the world. So I'm glad there's still people who love them, cuz they wouldn't be around long with out you!!!
