Leo not eating!! PLEASE HELP

Okay my baby boy Riley is a two year old Leo. I recently took him to the vet for an abscess I spotted under his eye and they gave me some cream ointment stuff to put on the area. And they told me to get the sand out, so i did. An now I have that reptile turf and two days ago I was standing up with him in my hands an close to my chest to apply the ointment and he squirmed out of my hands and dropped onto my wood floor. I gently picked him up and he laid in my hand with his eyes closed and he just shook. I was drenched in tears by this time and was apologizing profusely to him. An now he has stopped eating!! Is it bc I dropped him or the stress from the vet and the vivarium edit? PLEASE HELP ME! I love Riley so much...

How is Riley walking around since his fall? Any lumps on his spine?

What type of ointment are you using for his eye? Is the medicine helping? I wonder whether he has been licking that medicine.
