Leachianus Locale? Help??

Hello people!

So this matter of my leachie Henkeli being a unknown morph or locale is driving me nuts.]

Going by what Leapin Leachies website has shown me in their Off shore Gallery, i feel he might be or even a Moro or possible Brosse?

Leapin Leachies High Quality Locality Specific Rhacodactylus

- He is 2-3 years old
- 12 and half Inchs SVL

My question i want to pose to you is this...

Can i say that it is one of these Locales or would that just be untruthful?

I feel like people would care too much about the locale of the gecko that it would mean there would be less interest in any offspring i may product in the future, if i was to breed him with a proven local female.

Here he is and i will let you judge for yourself:

hey Big McC -

I personally feel it's very unethical to assign your Leachie a locality designation if you don't have some sort of evidence beyond his appearance.

It is neither of those two locales. If you don't know the locale, unfortunately you never will. Judging by the size and colors, it has GT in it. The snout is far from a pure Moro snout, and the body build is not correct for a Brosse. Baby leachies, regardless of the locale tend to sell around 300+ now. Your babies will sell, but if you feel you must lie to sell them, and help in ruining the pure bloodlines, then you may want to really think if your in this for the animals or the money.

It indeed looks like it's a GT mix, Also, there is no Rh. leachianus henkeli anymore, they are all Rhacodactylus leachianus.
If you don't know the locale, it's locale unknown. Still very pretty though.

I told you on another forum before that this one is never ever an island animal. Many Mt. Koghis animals have that look, especially the dark background color with the patternless back. You will just never know, it might be a pure Grande Terre, a GT mix or even a leachianus x henkeli mix. All i would say is that it IS NOT a henkeli / offshore animal. Super nice looking, too.
