Hi, I recently got a juvenile leopard gecko. I'm wondering what the best humidity for my gecko is. It is also my first time owning them.

Hi TDGecko ~

Welcome aboard!

A good ambient humidity for leopard geckos is 40-60% relative humidity in the vivarium as a whole with significantly greater humidity in the warm moist hide 24/7.

Thanks Elizabeth, right now my humidity is in the 20% during the day with the heat lamp on, and 40% at night with the heat lamp off. What can I do to bring the humidity up during the day. Right now the water bowl is all the humidity that I have, but I am hoping to get a moist hide for my gecko soon! Is there anything else I will need to do besides that?

You are welcome! :)

What size is the vivarium?

How about beginning a new thread like I suggested in your other thread?
